After years of creating murals and hand painted furniture for friends , family, and my own home I decided to pursue my passion and study mural painting. Taking my first professional mural painting class made me realize that mural painting w as just the beginning of the many possibilities with decorative painting . I dove into training as a Decorative Painter and my true passion was found. Painting's A Passion was born.

New techniques and products are continually introduced to the world of decorative painting and what can be achieved with these new techniques and products is truly amazing. I have come to use the most advanced products in the marketplace ensur ing a finish full of richness, depth, and optimal durability. To stay abreast of the latest techniques and hottest trends, I continue to study with many of the best decorative painters in the world in areas of Trompe L'o ei l, murals, wood graining, marbling, stenciling, glazing, textures, foils, masking patterns, furniture and cabinet finishes, concrete finishes and just about any other type of decorative painting you that can imagine.

I' ve discovered that many finishes are interchangeable. A mural can be on a wall or a piece of furniture. Venetian plaster, an Old World texture, or an antiquing glaze can be artistically applied to transform a yard sale find or your family heirloom. Decorative finishes are not limited to just walls and ceilings and can transform outdated cabinetry, floors, fireplace mantels and more into true works of art. I love creating the art of illusion with my paints.
